Extending Miracles - Miracles Practice
Extending miracles is the practice of giving and receiving miracles. A Course in Miracles tells us that a miracle is a shift in or perception, or a transformed mind. The Holy Spirit, who is the voice for God in our mind, provides the miracles we receive. He is always there. He is always available to heal your mind, but he can only do so when we are willing to have our minds healed. You don't even have to "believe" that a miracle will occur, you need only be willing. To be willing we must quiet our minds and listen for that quiet voice within us that is gently reminding us of our true nature and our Real Home in the Mind of God. The Holy Spirit reminds us that we are not the vulnerable, lonely, sad, confused or afraid beings that we often think we are. We are not our bodies, personalities, "likes" or "dislikes" - we are not even our beliefs. We are an eternal, formless, changeless extension of God - who is Love. We are Love Eternal existing as One with all of our brothers in the mind and heart of God forever. We are reminded that time and space are not real and that we are timeless and formless. What we are, which is Love, cannot be taught or described but only experienced and you can experience this Love when you receive a miracle as well as when you extend miracles to all. All minds are joined, so today you can choose to either extend thoughts that will assist all in awakening, or you can extend thoughts of fear which are illusional thoughts that are totally untrue. Where is your mind now? Are you thinking thoughts with the ego or with God, which are thoughts of Love. What are you choosing now? |
